Potassium Silicate is used in a 5% solution to 'size' wood.
It impregnates and hardens the wood prior to applying a primer or varnish.
Mix 50ml with 300ml of water for a 5% solution. (The Potassium Silicate is supplied part diluted).
Two coats can be applied. Please allow to dry thoroughly before the next coat.
Supplied in 100ml bottle.
