Description

These pegs are made from an advanced composite material together with a light alloy.
The tapered peg is fitted just like an ordinary wooden peg and the gears inside the peg head prevent the string from loosing tension. Once fitted, simply turn the peg head to tune up or down - the shaft of the peg remains in postition within the peg holes. This means there is no wear on the peg or peg holes, and therefore far easier to tune.
These Wittner Finetune pegs turn very smoothly and have even been fitted to a Stradivarius violin.
If you struggle tuning your violin then these pegs are the answer.
Available in two sizes. 7.8mm or 8.6mm diameter measured at the collar of the peg. Standard 1/30 taper.
